Our Philosophy & Mission:

Blue Penguins Children Center is part of the bigger whole in childcare for families and we are ready to provide that additional support for families in our community. 

We are here to provide early learning for children ages 6-weeks to 12 years old. We offer supporting opportunities for Wholesome Growth and Development through exploration, experimentation, and play. We will use various learning materials, and offer recreation that is stimulating and age-appropriate. We intend to enhance spiritual, social-emotional, physical, cultural, and intellectual development. Blue Penguins Children Center is making adaptations to include children with special needs. Each child is different; our teachers and staff will ensure modifications to accommodate children with special needs. 

• We value safety and a healthy environment focusing on diversity, community, kindness, heritage, culture, faith in family, creativity, and adventurousness. Blue Penguins Children Center believes in Evidence-Based practices as well as Faith-Based. 

 

• Evidence-Based practices start with the best available research, knowledge from professional experts provided to the staff.

 

• Faith-Based will incorporate prayer and some biblical stories into the daily activities.

Established in 2021

In 2006, it was just a thought to own and operate a daycare while working for a non-profit childcare center as a caregiver for school-age children. 
In 2008 I was a home-registered childcare provider for my first granddaughter. Many years later 2014, I had been inspired to own and operate a daycare while employed as the head cook. I began to commit the time to pursue my education, receiving an Associate of Arts Degree in December 2019. In the field of Early Childhood Multicultural Education. Early Childhood Program Administration; Child Development; NM Child development for pre-school; NM 45-hours, & Entrepreneurship Certificates, and gained experience as an assistant teacher & co-teacher working with different age groups, infants, 18-months, two, three, and four years old. Hence, owning and operating a daycare was a dream for 15 years. 

Our Goal

The goal of Blue Penguins Children Center is to provide a neutral setting for children that ensures a home-atmosphere pattern throughout their time at Blue Penguins CC. Your children will be spend their time here by lots of good-natured playtime and being led in sharing the love of Jesus. We intend to build positive relationships with children, their families, staff and the community. We strive for unity through goodwill and in carrying out a biblical mandate.
